As it heads into its 5th year of operation delivering meals within Marlow & the surrounding areas, Meals from Marlow have agreed an exciting new collaboration with frozen meal retailer, COOK, which has a shop on Spittal Street in Marlow.
Meals from Marlow, the charity established by Tom Kerridge, Andy Agar and Pub in the Park has delivered approaching 200,000 meals since it was founded during the 2020 Covid lockdown.
The deal secures thousands of meals at a generous discount from COOK, which will continue to be delivered by the charities 75+ volunteers.
Announcing the new partnership, Tom Kerridge said “This is another brilliant example of a community minded local business supporting the Meals from Marlow project, we are extremely grateful”.
COOK’s support of the local charity is consistent with a nationwide policy providing support and social responsibility within local communities across the country.
Co-CEO of COOK Rosie Brown said “Bringing people together round good food is what we’re all about at COOK, so we are delighted to work with Meals from Marlow. They have mobilised an incredible team of volunteers to do something truly life-changing. Pub in the Park Festivals have organised fundraising for the charity since it was established in lockdown in 2020. This year’s opening night of Pub in the Park Marlow will see a major celebrity fundraising gala evening aiming to raise in excess of £50,000.
