Maybe you have heard….. Marlow has a new pub opening at 8am this Tuesday 24th

MyMarlow was invited into The Grand Assembly today, given the grand tour and met the friendly team, who were there training on bar and food service! Firstly, it’s HUGE and the whole interior has a lovely design – with so many references to Marlow’s rich history. The carpet features the bridge, rowing and more, walls feature various historical characters and scenes, there’s Wethered’s brewery memorabilia, even some of the tables incorporate parts of rowing boats etc. The swan from the town’s crest is on feature wall tiles, and a large wooden panel has a very appropriate quote from Three Men in a Boat, written in Marlow by Jerome K Jerome.
