Marlow Town Council is delighted to announce an exciting enhancement to the town’s Christmas light display which will now extend to West Street and Spittal Street. Traditionally focused on the High Street, this year’s improvements will ensure a more consistent and magical holiday atmosphere throughout the town centre.
Thanks to the generous support of Sorbon Estates, which has funded this initiative, new festoon lights will decorate these key streets and complement the existing illuminations in Market Square. West Street and Spittal Street are home to many of Marlow’s retailers and contribute significantly to the vibrancy of the town so this improved Christmas light scheme will show them at their best at this special time of year.
Marlow Town Council would also like to express gratitude to the property owners along these streets, whose cooperation in allowing brackets to be fixed to their properties has made this enhancement possible. Their support highlights the spirit of community and collaboration that defines Marlow and is a great example of the town working together to improve the scheme and bring additional festive cheer.
