** Tonight 7.30pm is the Grand Opening of “The General”, which is the new name for the main hall at the British Legion **
MyMarlow was invited in for a preview tour, and to take some pics of the new bar – we were very impressed!! The place has had a substantial refurbishment, the inside is a lot more inviting, definitely more of a pub feel than just a hall!
New seating, including booths , which can be reserved, each with its own screen. Still plenty of space for a boogie too 🕺. There is a lovely large heated outside decking area, which has a brand new kids playground at one end too.
The food menu is extensive, and good value- launches in full next week, there is a smaller menu for the opening night.
Family friendly, and should be a real community asset.
There are many events upcoming – we’ll mention those more in due course. But for now , it’s all about the Grand Opening Party tonight, live music, from 7.30pm!
