Marlow’s Remembrance Ceremony took place today – as ever it was a moving and poignant event. Such a great number of participants from the armed forces, veterans, Royal British Legion, cadets, local organisations, Brownies, Guides and Scouts, and the parade was led by the Scots Guards Association Pipe Band. A large number of residents also turned out to pay their respects, and it was great to see so many younger residents taking part and watching too.

The service was led by Rev Sarah Jones from All Saints’ Church.

Deputy Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire Naomi Riches MBE PLY led lead the wreath-laying and after the Service took the Salute from the podium.

Marlow Mayor, Cllr Muryel Boulay, was be joined by representatives from Marly-le-Roi and Budavar.
