In an intimate setting of an audience of only 50, JAM once again brings a very ‘hands on’ approach to live theatre.
‘The Elves and the Shoemakers’ re-tells the classic story in a modern way.
Martin and Madge Shoemakers’ business isn’t doing very well. The loving couple are kind to everyone they meet, but it doesn’t sell their shoes! Martin makes fabulous leather crafted footwear, in every shade of brown and beige you can imagine. A customer asks for a bizarre request that could change their lives for the better, but Martin isn’t up to the task!
Thankfully two elves, brother and sister Harley and Floss are sent on a mission from head ‘elffice’ to brighten up the Shoemakers business in appreciation for their love and kindness to others.
JAM’s STUDIO THEATRE will be transformed into the Shoemakers shop, with the audience actually sitting INSIDE the shop!!
