Just over a week since Marlow was inundated with Santas in the Santa Fun Run, Santa Claus has been spotted again.
This time he was helping Marlow Round Table to raise money for local schools and charities, whilst bringing some festive cheer to the streets around town and distributing sweets to well behaved children.
- Last Saturday & Sunday the Round Table’s Santa Float could be seen round the Marlow Bottom and Foxes Piece areas of Marlow
- This weekend (14th/15th) it will be back in Marlow Bottom on Saturday and round the Danesfield RAF base, Henley Road and Pound Lane Areas
- Finally, he will be visiting Spinfield and Oaktree Road areas on the 20th & 21st December.
Local schools that are helping out, and benefiting, this year are Marlow Bottom & Marlow Bottom Pre-School, Foxes Piece, Danesfield, Spinfield and Sandygate. As well as being distributed to the schools the money is used to support events like the “Alone at Christmas” Christmas lunch that is organised by Julie Lyons for those who are alone on Christmas day, as well as other local charities such as Marlow Music Festival.
