Marlow has a new Mayor, Bob Johnson has stepped up from being Deputy Mayor last year – congratulations to Bob!
There was a a ceremonial handing over of the chains at a meeting of the Town Council last night, so its all official now.
So, this means Suzanne Brown has come to the end of her 2 year stint as Mayor of Marlow, and we’d like to thank her for doing a BRILLIANT job. She worked hard, was prominent at so many local events, raised lots of money for her nominate local charities (being awarded Freedom of the City of London for this reason), and whenever we encountered her at community events, she had a huge smile and and of course a massive hat!
