New Toilet webcams for Higginson Park

[EDIT 2-4-16 when reading this, please note the article was originally posted on April 1st! 🙂 ]

Wycombe District Council have launched an initiative to avoid queues at the main public toilets in Marlow’s Higginson Park. On their website it is now possible to view webcams of any queues outside, and what’s going on inside each cubicle!

The idea is that rather than traipsing all the way over to find large queues, you can have a quick look at the main webcam to judge if it is worth heading over – or perhaps heading for another facility instead – e.g. inside Court Gardens or behind a bush.

Their website also states how the interior view will be of use: “If you can see it is busy – the numbered webcams will help you know which cubicle is likely to be free next. For example you should be able to tell if someone has just started, is still going, or about to finish. Furthermore in the gents you will be able to judge how long they will take based on whether they are standing up or sitting down”

So don’t forget – next time you go, give as all a big smile 🙂

The website wycombe.gov.uk/marlow/toiletcam is live from today, 1-4-16.
