Last Orders at the Kings Head in Little Marlow

| |

Today, April 1st 2017 was the last day of service at the Kings Head in Little Marlow, before it closes to be transformed into a part of the White Brasserie chain – as reported in our previous article

As it turned out, I was there for a family party – the last such event to be held in the pavilion. The staff were great – friendly service to the end! Here’s a few photos I took for posterity…

A rainbow provided a fitting farewell …

The outdoor area will be transformed under the new plans

Menu on the blackboard – going, going…

..gone!! 🙁

Has the last game of Petanque been played here?

The staff were on top form, friendly to the end

The bar is at is…. I wonder how much will change when reopened?

Under the new plans, the main entrance will move back to the front of the pub

As a listed building, not much will be changing from this angle!
