If you have been across the bridge recently, you might have spotted the “igloos” which appeared on the lawn of the Compleat Angler Hotel!
They are in fact “Dining Pods”, available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Afternoon Tea, for 2 hours sessions at time slots of 8am, 10.30am, 1pm, 3.30pm, 6pm and 8.30pm. Note they are deemed “indoors”, so are for household groups under current Tier 2 restrictions.
MyMarlow was lucky enough to check them out last night! We had a lovely family meal, great food of course, but the pods made it an amazing experience. We were excited, and we could tell the staff were excited to have brought such a cool experience to Marlow. The setting is just magical, and a pair of radiators kept us nice and cosy, with no need for blankets although they are provided. The concept has been so well thought through – bluetooth speaker to play your own music, a sign you put up if you require service, and other similar nice touches.
They are bound to book up quickly, but we would really recommend you give them a go if you get the chance!
