Marlow Town Council goes electric

| |

Underlining its commitment to the environment, Marlow Town Council has this week purchased an electric bike from Saddle Safari.

The Trek Electric Bike will be used by officers and Councillors for errands and jobs around the town, thereby reducing the number of car journeys and the Council’s carbon footprint.

Town Clerk Hilary Martin, has been using the bike this week to conduct recreation ground inspections. “I’ve enjoyed being out and about on the bike,” she said. “It’s easy to use and very practical, as well as being environmentally friendly.”
