Marlow May Fayre 2022 *GALLERY*

Saturday 7th May saw the return of the May Fayre, organised by Marlow & District Round Table.

It was a triumphant return, having skipped 2 years like most other events. The May Fayre is a fun, family friendly event and a celebration for the Marlow community – with brass bands, local entertainment, children’s discos, stalls, games, rides, food, drink and of course Marlow’s ‘world famous’ Duck Race.

It is always a definite annual highlight for Marlow residents, and us at MyMarlow – check out our photo gallery at the end of the article.

Matt Bonfield of Round Table told us ” The event itself was a huge success – probably our most successful May Fayre yet! But it could not have been made possible without the help and support of our friends at Marlow FM, Dave the Disco, the members from Bucks Search & Rescue who help with the duck race, our own friends & family and other volunteers who tirelessly worked behind the charity bar, BBQ and helping set-up and close-down at the end of a long day…”

Another Round Table member, Steve Cornish, added “Marlow & District Round Table consists of a small group of volunteers, and we are delighted that we can give something back to the community in this way. Not only that, but all money raised at the Fayre allows us to continue to donate and support local charities, groups, and good causes.

It gives us a great sense of pride to be able to able to stage an event like this and seeing so many happy people throughout the day makes it all worthwhile. We hope you enjoyed it. Thank you, Marlow!”
