Marlow FM’s Hidden Gems Awards are back!

Marlow FM’s celebration of the good, caring and positive in our town is back for 2023 – with some new categories!

As in previous years, they are seeking nominations in any. or all of the twelve categories listed below.

Nominating is really easy – just head to https://www.marlowfm.co.uk/gems/

Nominations close on Jan 20th, and Marlow FM will draw up a shortlist for each category and ask us to get voting.

Hidden Gems Awards Party

The winners will be announced at a fun filled Mexican fiesta inspired evening on Saturday 18th February where all are welcome to celebrate the winners, dine in style and and party the night away!

The Award Categories

  • Best cuppa
    • Who’s the best for a cup of tea, mug of coffee, loaded hot chocolate?
  • Best pub
    • Where do you go for the best pint, entertainment, atmosphere?
  • Best Sunday roast
    • Where do you go for your roasties and yorkshire pudding?
  • Best Breakfast
    • Full English or smashed avo – who does it the best?
  • Best night out
    • All dressed up – where’s the best place to be?
  • Best sports club
    • Whatever your sport is there’s a club for it – who is the best?
  • Best special interest club
    • From archery to zoology – there’s a club for all interests.  Which is the best?
  • Best teaching assistant (includes LSAs)
    • Providing the support to children at school every day – time to recognise them! Who’s the best?
  • Best local producer
    • There’s local Cheese, beer, gin, champagne and so much more – who is our best local producer?
  • Best tradesperson
    • Electricians, builders, plumbers, gardeners and so much more – who do you always recommend?
  • *Services to Charity
  • *Services to the Community
