A group of local small businesses has come together to collectively raise their profiles, share advice and support each other.
The group is branded as “Marlow Independents” and their first Business Fair is being held at Liston Hall on Sunday 12th November, from 9am to 1pm.
One of the organisers, Stephanie Harris told MyMarlow ” I wanted to do something to grow my business, I couldn’t find anything businessy locally so I thought I’d reach out and see if others wanted to come together to do the same.”
A WhatsApp group was formed, then a Facebook group (link here) , and has quickly grown in size with a variety of local businesses – health and beauty, photographers, food products, website design, a magician, financial advice and lots more.
Stephanie added “We all support small and wanted to extend that to others. We are all keen to get our names out into the local community. We decided a Business Fair would be the ideal way to achieve this, and we will be planning a wedding fair for spring time too.”
