Proceeds from the event will directly support the running of local charity, Smart Works Reading, which has supported nearly 2,500 women into employment since the centre opened in 2015. Smart Works Reading uses the power of high-quality clothing and one-to-one coaching to support local unemployed women to succeed at interview, get the job and transform their lives.

In light of ongoing challenges stemming from the pandemic and the prevailing cost-of-living crisis, the services provided by Smart Works Reading are more critical than ever in bridging the gap between unemployed women and available job opportunities.
