Sprintathon was an event at the running track at Little Marlow last year which raised over £20,000 for “Stand Up to Cancer” (part of Cancer Research UK) . Over 350 local participants ran 100m sprint sections as part of a mass participation relay, and beat the marathon world record by 10 minutes. It was a superb community event!
This year, the event is back on Saturday 16th September 2017 with even BIGGER goals:
- Beat the Sprintathon 2016 marathon time
- Break the record for most 100m sprints in 1 hour
- Raise £50k Stand Up to Cancer
It’s £20 for a lap team of 4 runners to enter with each person running 100m. This cost covers t-shirts and goodie bags.
