![]() | The Royal Oak (website) Frieth Road, Bovingdon Green, 01628 488611 Our pub review: A great country pub, a stones throw from Marlow town centre. Rebellion beer on tap (3 varieties on my last visit). Decent sized garden with a 'Petanque' area. Most of interior is in effect a restaurant, where the food is of a very high quality, and warrants a fuller review in our restaurant listings. Our food review: A deservedly popular location for a meal out, and has a good reputation locally (and beyond, I expect). Genuinely friendly staff, and delicious food. At my last visit I was equally happy with the starter of squid 6.50, and then the 21 day aged rib-eye steak 17.75. (Also see entry in our Pub listings) |
