Sprinters Travel Launches Marlow – London Commuter Bus Service

| |

Marlow based minibus company, Sprinters Travel are launching a new direct commuter bus service from Marlow to Paddington, London this February.

The company will begin its commuter service on 4th February 2013, picking up passengers at the bus stop by Platts garage on Oxford Road at 07:15 and dropping them off in Paddington. The return bus will leave Paddington at 17:40. It is anticipated that once a core number of passengers has been established, the company will increase the number of services, increase the size of the vehicles and add more stops at either end.

Commuters can buy daily tickets for £12 return or a Monday – Friday ticket for just £50.00, suiting both full-time and part-time workers.

Sprinters Travel was started in March 2012 and was initially set up by former Borlase student, Viviane Walker. Quickly joining the business was her father Bruce, who as a keen driver and mechanic complemented the business. Having both commuted to London over the years and attempted all the various means to get there, it was decided that a commuter bus could be just what Marlow needed!

Keen to make sure the bus service benefits Marlow commuters as much as possible, Viviane adds ‘I’m really interested in getting everyone’s feedback and suggestions, especially as we’ll be adding new services and I’m always seeking to improve the current one.”

  1. Hi, I would be very interested in finding out if you make any other stops en route and what time you arrive in Paddington. Also, would I need to pre=book or just turn up?

    Many thanks….

  2. Hi Lesley,

Currently we just have the one stop in Marlow, departing at 07:15 and arriving in Paddington at approximatel 08:21.
I prefer it if passengers reserve a seat to avoid being disappointed if the bus is full – you can do this by emailing me at hello@sprinterstravel.co.uk.
Hope to see you on board! Viv
