Sun 30th June: Walk in aid of local “Sparkles” charity

| |

Marlow Thames Rotary Club have organised a Charity Chiltern Walk on Sunday 30th June in support of the Sparkles Charity.

Sparkles is a parent-led charity and support network for children with Down Syndrome and their families in Buckinghamshire. It provides a specialist speech and language therapy service for pre-school children unavailable elsewhere, including the private sector.

The walk is from 2 to 5 miles which includes a pushchair friendly route and a scavenger hunt with prizes for the children. This will be followed by a Ploughman’s lunch afterwards in the playing fields.

The cost of this amazing event is only £5 for adults and £2.50 for children or you can pay just £12.50 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

The walk starts by meeting at 11.00 at Danesfield School car park so to book your place or for more information phone 07831 309739. What better way to spend a Sunday and support this very worthwhile charity.
