Hambleden Covered Market takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Hambleden Village Hall from 10.00 – 3.30.
The next one is on Saturday 13th July. There are stalls selling local produce such as lamb reared nearby in Fawley, pork raised in the Hambleden Valley, organic bread made from grain grown near Prestwood and a wonderful variety of cheeses from the the Old Deli Granary in Watlington. There are also homemade cakes, clothing made from alpaca fibre, vintage collectables, fresh flowers, homemade preserves and much more. Bacon butties, lunches, coffees, teas and cakes are served all day.
The market has a very warm, friendly atmosphere and most of the customers quickly become regulars getting to know the stallholders well. Do come and join us on the 13th July! For more information, please phone Liz on 0772 056 3673
I have been meaning to go to this since I saw it in Round and About Magazine the other day!
What a lovely way to spend a summer morning. We Browsed the interesting and varied stalls then had tea on the patio with far reaching views over the valley. This was our first visit despite being fairly local (Cadmore End) and will definitely be returning!
Superb range of foodstuffs and hand made quirky crafts. Well worth a visit every month
