We’ve been contacted by the developers of a free app that’s been developed for Marlow for the forthcoming festive season – and we are more than happy to promote something that encourages shopping in our town centre!
The app is called the Marlow Window Shopper, and its aim is to help shoppers remember and share what they’ve seen in Marlow’s shops.
The gist is that when walking around town you can take a snap of something of interest, that record which shop you saw it in, together with a note (e.g. who the gift might be suitable for)… thus compiling a list for later review, sharing via email, Facebook etc. As far as they are aware, the developers believe Marlow is the first town in the world to have a dedicated window shopping app.
It was developed by Maidenhead based creative agency Brash, with help and support from Marlow Town Council.
