If you were watching BBC1 last night, you might have seen Marlow resident Trishna Bharadia as one of the contestants on “The People’s Strictly Come Dancing” for Comic Relief.

Trishna  is one of six people chosen out of thousands to take part – and the whole thing was a complete surprise – her reaction on the show was priceless!

Since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis  in 2008 she has worked tirelessly to raise awareness of the condition and support others with MS. Her work has been recognised by various organisations and she was MS Society’s Volunteer of the Year in 2013.

Yesterdays show (4th March) introduced three contestants including Trishna. (see it here on iPlayer)

Already a “Strictly superfan”, Trishna’s reaction to being told she would be on the show (being surprised by Louis Smith and Natalie Lowe) was amazing, as was her response on finding she would be partnered with pro dancer Aljaž!

The show on 5th March will show all six contestants training with their Pro dance partners.
On 11th March all contestants will be dancing in front of the judges and the audience.

The public voting will then start and the winner will be announced on 13th March on Comic Relief.
