On Saturday 19th September 2015 – Marlow Watersports Hub – the new home of Marlow Rowing Club was officially opened by club chairman and Olympic legend Sir Steve Redgrave and Mike Spracklen OBE, who has coached multiple Olympic rowers to medal success.
In 2011 a fire completely devastated the existing clubhouse. In the years since – having raised nearly £2.5m, the club has been able to build a new state of the art home for themselves, plus other water based clubs covering sports such as canoeing and open water swimming.
