You will know we usually stick to Marlow stories only….. and this relates to High Wycombe! But it also relates to Waitrose, which Marlow has long had an association with (The old, larger store on West Street was replaced by Sainsbury’s – leading to the new smaller store on Chapel Street).

Anyway, Waitrose fans can now make the trip up to Handy Cross to the brand new store opening at 8am on Thursday 10 March.

Apparently it’s a bit bigger than Henley, and they have lots more checkouts.

According to the Waitrose website, they have the usual things you would expect from a larger supermarket – large counters for fish, meat and cheese plus an onsite bakery.

In addition they have

  • a fresh sushi counter
  • cafe
  • dry cleaning and laundry service
  • parking for over 250 cars

Erm, that’s about it really! Enjoy 🙂
