As you are aware work is underway with the exciting two million pound refurbishment project funded by Wycombe District Council. Here is the latest:
We announced the news back in February and updated you about the start date last month. The whole project includes replacements of flat roofs, guttering repairs, pool hall dome roof, boilers, sports hall floor, LED lighting in circulation areas, minor upgrades to the Dryside Changing facilities and refurbishment of the swimming pool tank, pool plant and Wetside Changing facilities.

Whilst there is a provisional end date of the 21st March 2020, this date could lapse slightly depending on how works on such a large project progress. During the closure period the below provision has been made for Court Garden / Places Leisure members and customers.
Members
Members will be welcome to use the swimming pool facilities at both other sites: Wycombe Leisure Centre and Risborough Springs Swim & Fitness Centre, regardless of membership type, at no additional cost.
Leisure Card, Places Memberships/Pay as you Go Customers
You’ll be welcome to use the swimming pool facilities at both sites: Wycombe Leisure Centre and Risborough Springs Swim & Fitness Centre, at the chosen site’s standard entry fees for your activity. Leisure Card discounts will still be applied to your activity at the chosen site’s usual rate.
Swim Academy
Your space(s) will be held and your DD payment frozen for the duration of the pool closure and re-activated on opening unless you inform us otherwise. All communication should be sent to Louise Richardson, Swimming Co-ordinator: louiserichardson@pfpleisure.org. Louise will also help you find space at one of the other sites if requested and places permitting.
Aqua Classes
You’ll be welcome to use the swimming pool facilities at both sites: Wycombe Leisure Centre and Risborough Springs Swim & Fitness Centre, at the chosen site’s standard entry fee for your activity or at no extra fee for Premium Members. They are looking into providing some ‘Dryside Class’ alternatives for Aqua & Aqua Therapy classes to help keep clients active and social over the pool closure period.
Clubs
Any clubs affected by the pool closure or sports hall floor replacement works will be contacted and advised separately.

If updating pool please will you keep the steps into the pool as not able to get into pool at wycombe as steps are set into wall of pool and are very difficult for the older person to manage.
I second that. I can only use this pool because the gradual steps make it accessible for people with disabilities so I hope they keep the shallow walk in steps and also the warmer water. I hope the water temperature will still be kept at around the warmer 31 degrees C than other pools because it is the only place I can go to do hydrotherapy exercise without getting cold.
