Poppy Appeal – Covid update

| |

The Marlow branch of the British Legion have asked us to pass on an update on this year’s Poppy Appeal:

“Due to the current Covid lockdown regulations we are unable to continue with our stand on the High Street and have had to withdraw collection boxes from locations that have had to close.  Remembrance Poppies, crosses and Poppy Pins are available up to 11 Nov at both Hunts and D&J News.  Poppy boxes are also available for donations at Nationwide, Nat West, Barclays and Santander, Boots, Marks and Spencers, Costa Coffee, Starbucks, Burgers and Rebellion.  Sainsburys also have poppies at their checkouts.

The outstanding display created by Corrine Hinch and her Team on All Saints and Higginson Park railings are fantastic and any contributions towards this can be made to Corrine’s Just Giving site https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/marlow-poppies

If you have not seen them in person, here are some photos of “Marlow Poppies” displays referred to above.
