Marlow-based author Susanna Beard has announced the publication of her new psychological thriller, The Perfect Life. This is her third novel and the first with her new publisher, Joffe Books. MyMarlow has been a big fan of Susanna’s first 2 books!
The main character in the book, Heather, is leading a happy life with her family in London when she buys a lottery ticket on a whim and wins a huge amount of money. She is determined not to allow it to change her life, but when the story leaks and she starts to get threatening messages, she realises nothing will ever be the same again.
Susanna told us: “I’m delighted to be with a new publisher and to be able to launch The Perfect Life. The story is partly set in Spain, and it was lucky that I’d done the research trip before 2020! I hope readers will enjoy the escapism of this fast-moving thriller.”
