Town Regatta SPOTLIGHT: Saturday Entertainment

Welcome to the first in a series of articles focussing on specific aspects on Marlow Town Regatta and Festival 2023, which takes place over Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th June. This year has a cracking line up of musical entertainment on the Saturday, so that’s what we will start with!

Note that this year, Regatta Day tickets also include the evening music event -Raiders of the Lost Archives as featured below. However tickets are available for those that want to attend the evening only from 6pm onwards.

Saturday Entertainment

Marlow FM

Marlow FM will be covering the event “live on air” with a selection of its top hosts playing music throughout the day from 12-5pm.

The Rock & Strollers

Roaming throughout the event – with a vast repertoire taking in everything from rocky classics to sing-along anthems, every The Rock & Strollers performance is a little bit different.

Marlow Town Band

Located in our very own bandstand – Marlow’s own brass band ensemble, performing summer afternoon classics & jazz, from their eclectic repertoire.

5.00pm Dave Dunbar

Takes to the stage, Marlow’s own Dave Dunbar bringing you the best classic popular swing & jazz numbers from the 1920’s onwards.

6.00pm The Rymatones

Bucks based Rock ‘n’ Roll band playing the hits from
Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly
and more. You’re going to be in for a treat, so grab your
blue suede shoes and be there….or be square!

EVENING CONCERT

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARCHIVE DJS LIVE ON STAGE
Showcasing a light show extravaganza lighting up Marlow, we take you back in time for those dancefloor hits, with the best DJ’s in Town!

7-8pm – Chris Richards – Motown and Soul
8-10pm – Kev Kinch & Ian Springell – 80s and 90s dance tracks

As mentioned above, separate tickets are available to JUST attend this evening event, but it is included in standard FULL DAY tickets.

Wow! What an exciting line-up – well done to the Committee for pulling all that lot together. We will see you there!
