Live Advent Calendar comes to Marlow

On the first day of Christmas ….. you will discover what shop will be displaying number 1 to begin a month of festivities and treats while you are shopping in Marlow!

Keep your eye on the shop windows in Marlow over December as they reveal their “featured” date, when you can pop in for a chocolate to lift your spirits while you are Christmas shopping. One lucky person will win a pair of diamond earrings that will be given away in a raffle by Fullards Jewellers!

All the participating stores will show their date in December in their own unique way and many will be offering extra seasonal treats and offers to customers on that day.

The idea is the brainchild of Krista Madden , who organised the successful In Your Element events this year. Krista told MyMarlow “I have built lovely relationships with many retailers in Marlow as they have joined in my events this year- the wellness festival in May and the fashion night out in September. I wanted to end the year with a fun festive idea to bring the community together.”

The full list of participating shops is at the end of this article, but as examples, some of the extra treats you will discover in-store when you pop in for your chocolate include….

Sansom Reed kicks off the month with their luxury chocolates in-store, Harringtons Hair will be giving away hair treatments, Nova Art Gallery will have fizz and mince pies. Nook will have mince pies and mulled wine & a bauble making workshop for kids. Angel & Rocket will be giving out festive goody bags with every purchase and have an arts and crafts table with festive colouring, decoration making
and glitter tattoos. Susie Watson will have minced pies and mulled wine in their cosy home store.

During December Scamp & Dude are launching Santa’s Little Duder’s, inviting customers in who have children to decorate/colour in a S&D designed paper decoration which they can then take away with them afterwards to hang on their tree.

For the local late night shopping evening, the 7th December NFU Insurance will be having a competition and giving away presents from under the Christmas tree.

My Best Friend’s Wardrobe will have 19 baubles on their Christmas tree with prizes in a selection, so you will want to be one of the first 19 through the door that day.
