Marlow Town Mayor, Cllr Jocelyn Towns will be hosting a Charity Dinner at the Compleat Angler Hotel in aid of Marlow Sports Club on 25th September 2011 7.00pm. Tickets cost £30 per person which includes a three course dinner .

Tragedy struck at Marlow’s historic rowing club in the early hours of this morning, when a fire gutted the club house. A very sad day for the club and Marlow as a whole. The collection of photos here give some indication of the devastation caused.

The MARLOW MUSEUM is have just opened their latest exhibition in a line of well received displays in recent years: “THE MARLOW DONKEY – OUR RAILWAY”. The exhibition covers the history of the coming of the railway to Marlow, Buckinghamshire, in 1873. The museum is well worth a visit- if you have been already or not!
