Our recent traveller visitors have now departed from Seymour Park Rec. They arrived on Saturday having used power tools to gain access to the site.
Marlow Town Council have been onsite for much of today, and there has of course been much work behind the scenes , with hands tied by the requirements of the law. Town Clerk, Hilary Martin has been working on this with the Police non stop since their arrival on Saturday, and in the end it was possible to use s61 powers to evict them.
Litter pick is already underway, as is working to re-secure the site. There is no specific police advice re visiting or otherwise… BUT we should add that a specialist contractor will attend re cleaning up human faeces….
