A much improved Two Brewers reopens!

| |

This week, the Two Brewers pub in Marlow reopened, after closing for a refurbishment to coincide with a change in approach.

We spoke to manager Alex Weller who explained that they had listened to and were trying to respond to comments from local residents. We know some of these residents, and based on our own visits and other feedback, the pub had certainly lost some of its appeal, to put it politely!

As a result, the decor has had a bit of a refresh, and they have substantially improved the food offering, with a new chef, and a new menu which is now all cooked from fresh. In addition, the wine list has been improved.

Alex told us the goal is to recover the relaxed “traditional local pub” atmosphere, with a good quality but affordable food and drink offering.

We enjoyed our meal, and certainly got the impression that Alex and the team really are trying their best to impress residents and other customers. The Two Brewers is definitely back on our list of pubs we’d recommend, and we look forward to revisiting!
