New York City-based radio station Pure Jazz Radio will rebroadcast Marlow FM’s ‘Swing That Music’ show from Wednesday 4 March. The online radio station is the go-to station for jazz fans, and thousands of people around the world tune in.

‘Swing That Music’ is Marlow FM’s weekly jazz and blues show. It goes out every Sunday between 6pm and 8pm.

The presenter, Michael Eagleton, has been doing the show since the days of Marlow FM’s first test broadcasts in 2007.  Lifelong Marlovian Michael got into jazz at a very young age, and has run the Marlow Jazz Club for more than 40 years. He is also widely known for publishing several books containing historical photos of Marlow from his extensive collection.

Graham Duthie, managing director of Marlow FM, said: “Michael’s show is a gem in our weekly schedule, and deserves wider recognition. We’re very proud to share it with jazz fans all over the world.”

‘Swing That Music’ will now also mention Pure Jazz Radio, but will continue to cover local gigs and play local recordings. The last three programmes can always be heard at marlowfm.co.uk/listenagain
