By the end of today, Marlow Police station will have been completely demolished. Right now it is in the “half gone” state shown in our photo.
In its place will be built a 3 story block of retirement flats. Our extract of the publicly available plans below shows the overall layout. Highlighted is where the new, smaller police station will be.
You will also note the provision of just 11 parking spaces for the 30 flats, and this has been the single largest cause of objections during the planning approval process.
In memory of its previous existance as a Police Station the Retirement Home should be named Evening Hall.
