Review of Continental BakehouseYou are right ,they do great coffee but l would say that as l am an illy coffee fan. Went there to check it out even though its not fully open , I was made very welcome and was impressed with the menu. I had a delicious pastry cooked on the premises with my coffee. What l really liked was the fact that they are supporting local charities by sourcing their furniture and many fittings from the Sue Ryder Hospice sales in Nettlebed. They even have a bookcase where you can help yourself to a book and leave a donation for Sue Ryder. How nice is that. I wish the new venture lots of luck and support from the local community. 2014-03-28 Diana elmsReview of Red Duck CanteenAll food is freshly cooked to order, and the four of us sampled 4 dishes between us and had the starter platters. The food really was good with some great flavours and we didn't end up with that dry mouth that you usually get from MSG flavour enhancers. Best of all was the fun ambiance of the cafe set up, it's light and airy with a vintage touch - the table legs are made out of old gas pipes! It was great to be able to walk there too :-) Rating: rating
