The Assembly Room restaurant in Marlow (above the cookshop on Market Square, top of the High St) has run numerous special musically themed lunches and dinners. This week they have an “Opera Night”, providing a 3 course meal and live music for £35. It should be a great night!

If you have walked down Marlow High St, you will most likley be aware of the fire at Haringtons hairdressers last week. Less obvious at the time was the impact on Scarlett Monroe shop next door. We will update this blog with developments as they happen. [...]

TV is going digital in the UK during 2012, and in Marlow it will be April 2012. To help with the switchover, Digital UK are hosting a series of Roadshows in January, and there will be opposite the Cross Keys Pub, Dean Street, Marlow from 9am until 5pm on 12 Jan. We have more info here.. [...]

The Marlow Players is an established society over 60 years standing, being formed in 1937 to bring amateur theatre to the local community.
Two productions per year are performed at the Shelley Theatre, in March and November.
The Players also host Les Baladins de Marly-le-Roi - our French town-twin drama group every other year [...]

We were sad to notice that Brasserie Gerard, on Marlow High Street has closed. The entire restaurant group went into administration at the end of 2011 – and whilst some of the restaurants in the chain have been sold to Raymond Blanc’s “Brasserie Blanc” chain, this deal was restricted to central London locations.
